  • Event Data: Photos, descriptions, contestant information, vote counts, and other content you upload or generate in connection with an Event.
  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction logs to help us improve the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and its features.
  • To process payments and verify transactions through Paystack.
  • To manage Events, including displaying contestant profiles, counting votes, and updating live leaderboards.
  • To communicate with you about your account, Events, and Platform updates.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security breaches, or technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Payment Processors: We share necessary transaction data with Paystack to facilitate secure payment processing. Paystack handles your card data under its own privacy and security standards.
  • With Organisers: When you vote in an Event, the Organiser may see your name, email address, and vote details for administrative and verification purposes.
  • Service Providers: We may engage third-party vendors to assist with hosting, analytics, customer support, and security. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols and processed through Paystack's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
